Fishtail Bun   A high bun is definitely my go-to hairstyle when I have dirty hair, so I'm always looking for new ways to dress it up. This is one of my new favorite ways!Supplied by   Start by putting your hair into a high ponytail. This is about where I like my bun to sit. You can do it higher or lower if you'd like. Use the hair in the ponytail to do a fishtail braid. . Secure the end of the braid with a small elastic. Use your fingers to loosen and widen the braid. Step 1. Set partially dried hair on self-fixing rollers - picture shows completed front view. Step 2. Shows completed side view of pli with fringe and side hair set in barrel pin curls Step 3. Hood dry. When hair is completely cold, remove rollers. Step 4. Shows all rollers removed. Step 5. Start smoothing hair from front using a bristle brush.  Step 6. Brush right through to ends, flicking hair out. Step 7. Mist with hairspray while lifting with fingers to give volume and texture.  Step 8. Position head-dress and grip in place, then comb fringe.
